Part-Time Custodian - Port of Spain

Job Title: Part-Time  Custodian   

Location: Port of Spain

Schedule: Monday – Friday (3pm – 7pm)

Rate of Pay: $21.50 – $24.50 TTD per hour

Start date: Immediately

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Custodians to help maintain a office space in Port of Spain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping all designated areas clean, organized, and tidy, contributing to a welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Sweep, mop, vacuum floors.

    • Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock supplies.

    • Empty trash cans and replace liners.

    • Dust and wipe down surfaces, clean windows and mirrors.

  2. Routine Inspections and Minor Repairs:

    • Inspect facilities for maintenance needs or hazards.

    • Report issues; perform minor repairs and replace consumables.

  3. Specialized Cleaning:

    • Deep clean tasks like carpet cleaning and waxing floors.

    • Maintain specialized areas (kitchens, gymnasiums).

  4. Outdoor Maintenance:

    • Sweep walkways, remove litter.

    • Care for plants and landscaping.

  5. Safety and Compliance:

    • Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment.

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  6. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.

    • Order and properly store new supplies.

  7. Customer Service:

    • Respond to requests and complaints promptly and courteously.

    • Provide assistance and ensure a clean environment.

  8. Team Collaboration:

    • Work with custodial staff and management to maintain standards.

    • Attend training sessions and meetings.

  9. Record Keeping:

    • Maintain cleaning schedules, maintenance records, and incident reports.

    • Document inventory levels and supply orders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 20 lbs and performing physical tasks.

  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.

  • Must possess the ability to use a mobile device and have mobile data access to utilize the company app for clocking in and out, communicating with Supervisors and Managers, and addressing customer complaints submitted through the app.

Field Supervisor – Trinidad

As a Field Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee residential and commercial cleaning teams

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development efforts

Job Requirements Title: Residential House Cleaner / Housekeeper

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive to job sites.

A vehicle is needed to transport the supplies and equipment to and from jobs.

Positive attitude, outlook, and sense of humor.

Must be in overall good health, and able to keep up with the demands of a physical job such as house cleaning. This includes, but is not limited to:

Lifting at least 25 pounds on a regular and daily basis.

Performing repetitive cleaning tasks every day.

On-time, organized, and able to be punctual or early for all scheduled work shifts.

Other tasks as required by the assigned special projects.

Must be able to pass an employment background check, and drug screening as a condition of the offer of employment if qualified.

Must be available to work during regular business hours which are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
